Electric heat pumps
SEG offers complete delivery of large electric heat pumps, designed and customized for each individual task:
- Air-to-water heat pumps for outdoor air and/or combination with electric boiler
- Air-to-water heat pumps on waste air/process air
- Water-to-water heat pumps for wastewater, waste heat, seawater etc.
- Hybrid heat pumps combining absorption and electric heat pumps.
- We advise on refrigerant selection, heat pump type and integration, and can also handle regulatory approvals and project applications.
Wide range of solutions
Our solutions range from 400 kW up to 70MW. No job is too big or too small.
We work with natural refrigerants (e.g. water, Propane, CO2, Iso-butane and more) and always choose the best solution for the job based on OPEX/CAPEX calculations.

- 80 MWth - Flue gas condensation at Amager Bakke

- 1.5 MWth - Waste air from drying plant - used as district heating
- 1.4 MWth - Air-to-water heat pump for district heating
