Purpose: Improved efficiency of wood chip boiler for district heating water

SEG A/S has delivered, installed and commissioned a new LT16 absorption chiller with a cooling capacity of 480 kW. It is the wood chip boiler at Nygade. The chiller is installed to cool the flue gas and increase efficiency. By installing the new chiller, the total efficiency is expected to increase to 118.6%. The chiller has been in operation since October 2014. The plant on Erhvervsvej also had an LT14 chiller installed in 2012.
