Purpose: Improved boiler efficiency SEG has delivered and commissioned a steam driven single effect absorption heat pump type SS50AP to Wattens paper mill. The purpose of the heat pump is to cool the flue gas so that the flue gas temperature is lowered to 38°C from the previous 65°C+. The heat pump is driven by steam at 10 bar(g) and the cooling capacity is designed for 1.8 MW.

Purpose: Improved efficiency of wood chip boiler for district heating water SEG A/S has delivered, installed and commissioned a new LT16 absorption chiller with a cooling capacity of 480 kW. It is the wood chip boiler at Nygade. The chiller is installed to cool the flue gas and increase efficiency.
